Our enhanced program is now using top industry software, PioneerRx. Through PioneerRX, students will experience simulated processes and workflows of today’s most innovative pharmacies.
Our program is a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board recognized education/training program. Students completing our program are eligible to apply for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).

Program Eligibility | Must be 18 years of age or older Have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate Have a Social Security Number or ITIN Number Once enrolled students must take CASAS assessment prior to the start of the program. Applicants are fully responsible for checking with California State Board prior to enrollment to determine their licensing eligibility. Refer to Pharmacy Technician License Applicants with Misdemeanor and Felony arrests/convictions: Certain misdemeanor and/or felony arrests/convictions may prevent you from eligibility to obtain a Pharmacy Tech license. Standard Class Day | There are two terms for this program: August - December and January - May Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm - 9pm |
Program Fees | Registration fees are $1,500.00 Fees can be paid by money order or cashiers check made out to HUSD for $1,500.00 due at time of registration. Fees can also be paid by credit card (fees apply) Additional cost: Students purchase books, name tag, state licensing fees, and materials. The material list will be provided at orientation and registration. What to Bring to Registration: Payment, Photo identification, copy of your High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
